The Dick’s House of Sport ice rink at Ridgedale Mall in Minnetonka, Minnesota is now open! Here’s everything you need to know before you visit.
Dick’s House of Sport Ice Rink
What it is
Dick’s House of Sport is a new concept that is focused on exciting in-store experiences, services for sports, community events, and the best product assortment. It’s the third House of Sport location in the country that opened in May 2022.
The outdoor field & track converts into an ice rink in the winter and is open to the public to use for a variety of open skate opportunities and special programs. It’s also available for private ice time, events, birthday parties, and team hockey practice. The rink is 60 ft wide by 100 ft long.

Opening Hours
The Dick’s House of Sport ice rink is open from November 18th through the end of February 2023.
You can book your open skate ahead of time here! If you have a season pass, no need to make a reservation in advance.

Cost
During open skate times, adults 12 and older can skate for $8 and children under 12 can skate for $5. Skate rentals are also available for an additional $5 per skater.
For those looking to learn how to skate, free sessions will be held on Sundays with the Herb Brooks Foundation. Recommended participant age is 5-12. Skate rentals are $5.

Skate Services
In addition to the actual skating, skate services are also available. Sharpening of hockey skates is $8, heat molding service is $25, and Sparx skate sharpening is $8. Do everything all in one place!
