Get a quick breakfast at Moguls
On our ski days, we need a quick but filling breakfast on our way to the slopes. We stopped at Moguls each morning for coffee and a breakfast bagel. Super good! And as a bonus, sit outside for some awesome views of the village with Blackcomb mountain as a backdrop!
Enjoy brunch at Stonesedge Kitchen
If you have some more time to spare I highly recommend Stonesedge Kitchen for brunch. Yummy food, great service, and a trendy atmosphere. We ordered the Traditional Breakfast and Hangover Beatdown (no, I wasn’t hungover, just really hungry!)
Après ski at Garibaldi Lift Co
Located right off the base of the Excalibur lift is Garibaldi Lift Co. It’s a great spot for post ski drinks for people of all ages. We sat outside by the fires and the heaters and had a great view of the mountain and the village below.
Après ski again at the Beacon
We also loved the Beacon for après ski drinks. It was a cozy atmosphere with happy hour every day from 11-12 and 3-5.
Après ski again at Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub
Ok I promise, last Après ski spot! Dubh Linn Gate is always full with people after the ski day, and they have live music most nights, too! There’s great outdoor fires on the patio and we had the NICEST waiter.
Get dinner at Tandoori Grill
I love a good Indian meal, and Tandoori Grill was amazing! We ordered the samosas, spicy curry, and chicken tikka masala. If you’re there in the warmer months, make sure to sit on their second story patio for some awesome views!
Eat at Brickworks Public House
Another great dinner option is Brickworks Public House. Eat here for a modern take on classic American dishes. My favorite was the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich with goat cheese and housemade red pepper jam. And if you like gin, make sure to try their gin and tonic menu with local gin!
Eat, drink, and party at Sushi Village
Our favorite meal and atmosphere while we were in Whistler was Sushi Village. The sushi was amazing, with a variety of rolls and sashimi for prices that won’t break the bank. This is a great place to go with friends and get a private table. The crowd tends to get younger as the night goes on. You’ll for sure have a great time here!
Get traditional poutine at Zogs Dogs
When I googled where the best place to get poutine is in Whistler, Zogs Dogs kept popping up. It’s a little food stand right at the base of the mountain in Whistler Village. They’re open early and late, and have multiple poutine options to choose from.
Grab a local beer at High Mountain Brewing Co
High Mountain Brewing Co is the only local brewery right in Whistler Village. It’s a large restaurant and tap room with pool tables, a full menu, and good beer! We ordered the award-winning 5 Rings IPA and loved it.
Grab another beer at Whistler Brewing Co
Whistler Brewing Co is located outside Whistler village but has a small tap room vibe to it. Cole ordered the seasonal Chestnut Ale and it was the perfect winter beer. So delicious! We also ordered the charcuterie board and it one of the best we’ve ever had! Loved the Boursin cheese and wild boar and fig salami.
