Upper Peninsula Michigan Airbnbs

UP Michigan Airbnbs

Upper Peninsula Michigan Airbnbs are so unique because of their location in the North and the incredible landscape that surrounds them!

We spent 4 days and 3 nights on a road trip around Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and stayed at these three Airbnbs while there. For a look at our full itinerary, and a map of the best UP stops, click here!

This boutique hotel has been fully renovated but still has its historic charm. Located in Marquette, Michigan, it overlooks the shores of Lake Superior. This little town is adorable and filled with fun restaurants, breweries, and best of all great sights and hiking! We loved the wallpaper and gas fireplace in our room – so cozy!

The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore was a highlight of our Michigan UP road trip. Located in Munising, the closest town on the lakeshore, this cabin has THE BEST location if you want to explore the area. Close enough to town for food and drinks, and also close enough to the gorgeous sites nearby! Super clean, all the necessities you need, and a really comfy bed which feels great after a day of hiking!

If you want to stay on the shores of Lake Michigan instead, I highly recommend this Hiawatha National Forest Log Cabin. It’s nestled away from everyone, but still close to some great sites like Kitch-iti-kipi (more on that in my full itinerary here!) Unlike other rustic log cabins, this one has indoor plumbing for its kitchen and bathroom – yay! However, it doesn’t have a TV or WiFi, so if you want to truly disconnect – this spot is for you!

That’s a wrap on my short list of my favorite Upper Peninsula Michigan Airbnbs (so far!) Can’t wait to check out some more!
