Very obsessed with @bluefinbay and can’t believe we haven’t stayed here before. So convenient for skiing and all the fun activities on the North Shore.

Here’s our @bluefinbay highlights!

🏠 Cabins overlook Lake Superior. So dreamy.

💧 Outdoor pool and hot tub also overlooking Lake Superior. Pool is heated at 85 degrees + in the winter so we had so much fun swimming in there too!

💦 Indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna!

🎨 Free daily activities like guided hikes, art projects, waterfall viewing, yoga, candle making, and so much more.

⛸️ Free equipment rentals for ice skating, cross country skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing. Even sizes for little kids!

🍷 Multiple on site restaurants

🔥 Nightly fires and free s’mores ingredients

🥾 Gorgeous lake walk that takes you from one side of the resort to another

The Porcupine Mountains (@theporcupinemountains) are located in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan and they get SO MUCH snow! A dream for skiing snowmobiling, and winter hiking!

The drive from the Twin Cities was about 5 hours - a perfect spring break destination if you don’t have plans yet!

Hastings is only 40 minutes from Minneapolis - her

Hastings is only 40 minutes from Minneapolis - here’s the details of how we spent our day!

@quarrytaphouse - we stopped here for lunch and rock throwing! Super unique and fun activity to do when it’s cold outside! There’s also fun digging equipment for all ages. No reservations required, play is on a first come first serve basis.

Vermillion Falls - Vermillion Falls park has great paved walking paths that follow the river and overlook the falls. So cool to see frozen in winter!

Shopping - Downtown Hastings is full of boutiques and antique shops. We loved RiverCity Popcorn and Candy Co and @squeakywheel_pottery!
