Show is only 45 minutes so it’s great for little kids! And tickets start at $15!

We’ve never read the book and still loved it.

This was our second show at @childrenstheatrecompany and they always do such a great job! Incredibly kid friendly with things to do before and after the show.

Refreshments and snacks are available.

The manual cinema was so interesting to watch come to life - I enjoyed it just as much if not more than our daughter!

@skybrothersparagliding is doing ice boat rides this winter on Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata! This might just be the coolest winter sport.

Book a 30 minute slot via @skybrothersparagliding Instagram. They will send you details on where to meet and what to wear. They have extra gear in case you need some!

I wore winter boots, snowpants, layers, wind resistant winter jacket, insulated gloves, hand warmers, neck/face gaiter, ski helmet, and ski goggles. You will need it all - trust me!

The ride is like a go kart on the ice. You go fast and the windchill will get you if you don’t have the proper gear!

@theicepalace_mn opens tonight (1/11/25) and is located in Delano (30 mins west of twin cities)!

Tickets to the palace can be purchased online in advance. They are $2 more at the door so get them in advance!

Open 1/11 - 2/16

Thursdays and Fridays: 5-9 pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 4-9 pm

🧊 Ice palace with lots of things to explore: tunnels, lights, ice slide, igloo, and more!

1. Rent snowmobiles with @polarisadventures - there’s a bunch of locations that have rentals around Minnesota!

2. Dine in an igloo at @grand_viewlodge - one of our favorite winter stays!

3. Ice skating at Central Park ice skate loop in Maple Grove. The ice is climate controlled so always pristine. Rentals and warming hut onsite!

4. Minnesota Ice Maze at the Minnesota ice festival is now open at TCO stadium in Eagan!

5. Downhill skiing at @lutsenmountains on the North Shore! We love the views of Lake Superior from the chalet.

1. Snowshoe at Interstate State Park in Taylor’s Falls - we brought our own snowshoes and took the railroad trail.

2. Outdoor curling at @forgottenstarbrewing - we love it here and go every winter! Reservations are required in advance (book online), otherwise see their website for open curling dates.

3. Ice skating at Centennial Lakes Park in Edina - skating is free, but they also offer rentals on site for a fee!

4. Igloo dining at @dukesonseven in Minnetonka - such a fun and cozy experience! Make reservations in advance online.

5. Rush River Ice Sculptures in Maiden Rock WI (don’t @ me that it’s not in MN haha it’s so close!) - see over 2 dozen huge free form ice structures. Free to visit and lights up at night! NOTE: As of 1/5/25 they aren’t open yet for the season, stay up to date on their Facebook page for opening date!
