New Zealand Itinerary – South Island

New Zealand Itinerary

Our New Zealand Itinerary of the South Island and all the details can be found here! Keep reading to see how we spent 5 days in this beautiful country at the end of January.

We love adventure and find it hard to sit still, so note that this New Zealand itinerary is packed full. Feel free to take it at face value, or adjust by a few days to give yourself more time.

We chose to rent a car rather than a camper van being we weren’t going to be in the New Zealand for too long. The Airbnbs we stayed at along the way are also listed below! Enjoy!

  1. New Zealand is truly a paradise for nature lovers. The landscapes are incredibly diverse, ranging from majestic mountains to pristine beaches. The stunning fjords, such as Milford Sound, took my breath away with their sheer grandeur. The rolling hills of the countryside and the vibrant colors of the forests left me in awe. Every corner of this country seems to be a picture-perfect postcard.
