Color block wall

If you’re looking for a colorful Minneapolis mural, this is your spot. Located right next to US Bank Stadium, this wall if visible to the many sports fans and concert-goers who frequent the area. FYI there is a black fence around the building, so you can’t get up close.
First Ave Stars
Location: First Avenue
The most iconic wall in Minneapolis, if not all of Minnesota is the First Ave silver stars. Featuring artists who have played at the concert venue, it’s fun to look around and find your favorite. Just make sure to find Prince’s special gold star right near the entry.
Bulldogs

Music note wall
Location: 10th and Marquette
The music note wall and its giant music notes spans an entire building in downtown Minneapolis. It was painted in 1972 when the Schmitt Music store occupied the building and wanted something more exciting than a brown brick wall. The music piece that’s on the wall is arguably one of the most difficult pieces to play for a solo pianist, bu French composer Maurice Ravel.

This sign obviously isn’t a mural, but is one of my favorite walls in Minneapolis. A quirky sign and a fun one to take photos in front of!

The newest mural on this list is this 30 ft high rendering of Minnesota music icon, Prince. Located in the North Loop of Minneapolis, not necessarily Northeast, but close enough!

The squirrels paddling their way through a lake in a PBR can is just as quirky as the 1029 bar itself. A fun retro mural!
