Hayward KOA is the ultimate campground for friends and families! For an incredible experience, check out the campgrounds heated pool, waterslides, wagon rides, mini golf, outdoor movies, and tubing and canoeing on the river. If you end up staying on a holiday weekend, be sure to also check out the incredible Friday Night DJ! Not only is the campground itself an experience of a lifetime, there’s also plenty of attractions in the local area, such as the Lumberjack World Championship and the Fishing Hall of Fame!

Devil’s Lake State Park has two campgrounds to choose from, the Ice Age and Northern Lights Campground, and both are less than a mile away from Devil’s Lake! While staying at either campground, check out the nature center, a great place to test your knowledge of animals, astronomy, and geology! Both campgrounds offer plenty to do, such as miles of hiking trails, lakeshore picnic spots, and a great deal of beaches. Be sure to hike the East Bluff Trail for incredible views of both Devil’s Lake and the Devil’s Doorway rock formation!

Cabins are right alongside the lake, giving you a beautiful view of the water and the breathtaking sunsets. At the resort, there are plenty of fun attractions, such as a water trampoline, obstacle course, paddleboards, a Game Room, and much more! Just when you thought the resort couldn’t get any better, experience an astounding wildlife safari, horse stables, an outdoor waterpark, and go-karting just outside the resort! Camping is full for the 2021 season, but you can still rent cabins!

Looking to spend a day away with my 17 year old for her birthday. We live in Stillwater, MN and she’s pretty adventurous. What day would you plan? 🙂
