Lora Hotel Stillwater Staycation

Location, Location!

Lora Hotel Stillwater

Located right on Main Street of downtown Stillwater, Lora Hotel is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the little town of Stillwater. We parked behind the hotel and were easily able to walk to everywhere else we wanted to go! The town in itself is historic, and the Lora Hotel plays its own role in that history which is so cool. The hotel now stands in the same spot where a brewery was built into the bluffs in 1868, and you’ll see the original stone all around the building!

Welcome to the Lora Hotel

Walking into the Lora Hotel gives you a feel of what your stay will be like – relaxing, calm, and unique. The lobby is a great meeting point and prime for cute photo opportunities. You’ll see the original stone all over here, and even some of the caves that lead to who knows where! Dogs are also welcome here, so check out their site for more information.

We stayed in room 401, one of the unique rooms available in the Lora Hotel. I’ve stayed in other double and accessible rooms here as well and they have all been amazing. We especially loved the fireplace feature in this room – so cozy! The private bathroom gave us more than enough space, and the pillows were some of the best I’ve slept on at a hotel – and we’ve stayed at a ton of places! Note that the rooms do not have a mini fridge, however.

On-site restaurant and bar

The Lora Hotel does not give you your standard hotel lobby bar. Feller is the restaurant on site which you can also order room service from. It’s amazing for both brunch and dinner with Midwest-sourced ingredients. Keep walking through the restaurant and you’ll hit the Long Goodbye, the onsite bar. Grab a local beer, cocktail, or some small plates before your night out!

On-site coffee

Made Coffee is also located on-site, actually right through the cave in the lobby, but you will enter through the front door right next door 🙂 You’ll find all your pick me ups here, including coffee, tea, juices, smoothies, and even locally made pastries.
