Best restaurants in New Smyrna Beach (for snacks, drinks, and more!)
When I think about the best restaurants in New Smyrna Beach, my favorites all have great atmospheres. And because New Smyrna Beach is a laid back beach town, we stopped at lots of these places for a snack or a drink, not necessarily a meal!
Here’s a summary of our favorite places to grab a bite or a drink in New Smyrna Beach!
Go Juice
Go Juice is first on the list because it’s my favorite! Located right on Flagler Ave, this little spot had the best smoothie I’ve ever had – the Kowabunga – with strawberries, bananas, mint, and coconut water. SO GOOD! We also tried the banana coffee, which the owner described as “life-changing” and he was so right. This place is a must-visit!
Da Kine Poke
Another one of my favorites is Da Kine Poke. Eating here makes you feel like you’re in Hawaii! Also on Flagler Ave, this little spot had great Poke bowls which made for a refreshing light lunch before we headed back to the beach.
Treats on the beach
I love the name of this place, and their ice cream selection is out of this world. Treats on the Beach is another Flagler Ave spot that serves concession-like snacks and most importantly – Ice cream! I was craving some cookies and cream, but they also have a crazy amount of soft serve flavors.
Norwood’s Tree house
Eating lunch in a tree house? Yes please! Norwood’s Tree House gives you such a unique dining experience up in the leaves. The bloody mary is a must get, as well as the Seafood pot pie and the stuffed mushrooms!
The Baker’s Table
The Baker’s Table has THE BEST donuts in the world! I’m not kidding. These donuts are made fresh and taste like one giant mini donut you would get at a fair. They only make these donuts (no other kinds!) so be sure to get there right when they open to get them while they’re hot! I’ll be dreaming about them forever.
Island Roasters
If you’re looking for the best coffee in New Smyrna Beach, drive over to Island Roasters for some fresh roasted coffee. They roast their coffee in house and even sell some to take home!
Beachy beans
Another great coffee spot is Beachy Beans. This was our regular spot during the week because we could walk there right from the beach! My favorites are the Flagler Avenue latte and their coconut brew. So many fun choices!
Breakers
Breakers is one of the best restaurants in New Smyrna Beach, if not Florida, for a good burger. The pink-painted restaurant is a New Smyrna Beach staple and is a great spot to stop for a meal or a beer when you’re spending the day on the beach. I mean, look at that burger….drooling.
Toni & Joes
Another fun beach side spot is Toni & Joes. The outdoor deck is literally right on the beach which makes it another great spot for a quick bite or a drink.
Mason Bar
More smoothies!! Mason Bar offers all sorts of healthy options, like smoothies, bowls, and popsicles. The location is super fun, just like their smoothies!
Café Verde
Café Verde is located right off of Flagler Avenue and has some insanely good Mexican street corn. We stopped in for an afternoon snack and a beer. The staff are so friendly and welcoming!
New Smyrna brewery
We love a good brewery, and New Smryna Beach didn’t disappoint! New Smyrna Beach brewing company changed locations since the last time we were there, so their new location is bigger and better! And the beer is still awesome.
The Bounty Speakeasy
Located on the second story of Flagler Tavern, the Bounty speakeasy is such a cool spot serving fun drinks. We sat outside on the second story balcony that looks over Flagler Ave and was decorated in Christmas lights. Try the Lavender Colins if you’re a fan of gin and lavender!
I hope you enjoy eating and drinking your way through New Smyrna Beach as much as I did! If you have any other recommendations for our next visit, drop them below! We’ll be back again 🙂
While The Bakers Table may have great donuts, it is a can’t miss for dinner! It is without a doubt the best bite at this beach!
Garden Fusion and Third Wave are two more of my must haves when in NSB.
